Bathroom Remodel

For most of 2007, we have been dedicated to creating two brand new bathrooms for our house. The remodel required us to start from scratch. We took the original bath, a 4'x11' space, and created a new master bath (6'x7') and a half bath (6'x4') with new walls, floors, plumbing, doors, ceilings and a window. (The original half bath off the dining room will be torn out.)

Our new master bath features honeycomb tile with a black patterned inlay, subway tile (over 700 of them!), a tin ceiling, original clawfoot tub (circa 1925), a frosted window, crown molding and Jack and Jill pocket doors (coming in 2008!) to allow entry from both bedrooms.

Our new half bath features honeycomb tile, a tin ceiling, a custom chair rail, crown molding and an original exposed wood wall.

What are we working on now? With the baby coming, we've been busy remodeling the 2nd bedroom. We are also finishing up the master bedroom and about to start on the living room area. More pictures to come!

This looks great! (But we do hope you get someone in to relieve you from holding up that 2nd bedroom wall.)
